Akane was a very happy kid when she was younger. After discovering her Alice though, her mother pulled her out of school. This caused her to be raised in a very secluded world. She would constantly prick her finger to make objects with her blood just for fun. Her yearning for a friend soon grew into a hope that someday, she would be accepted by people. Akane is a very shy child though, and she now is very clumsy around people. Her isolation has caused her much loneliness, and she hopes that someone will accept her for who she is. She's afraid that people will mock her, or hate her, and she hopes that all goes well at Alice Academy.

How did you first discover your Alice?

Akane was in preschool when she first learned of her Alice. She had been running around with the kids in her class when she cut herself. The blood that pooled on her finger didn't scare her. In fact, she thought of a cat, and to her surprise, her blood became the shape of a cat. One of the kids saw her do it, and started to scream. Eventually, the entire school was afraid of Akane and what she could do. Akane was too young to really feel any sense of sadness, but she now understands it at her current age, and feels there is something wrong with her Alice. Her mother ended up taking her out of school and teaching her herself. This put Akane at a disadvantage. She was very lonely, and didn't have anyone to talk to. This made her feel that the world was afraid of her, and she couldn't do anything about it.

Relationships:

Has met Megumi and positively adores her! One of her first friends ever in Alice Academy!

She has also met Xiumin, and has finally stopped stuttering! Breakthrough yes! Akane does really enjoy the boy's company and actually (maybe) likes him... SHH DON'T TELL!

Hoshiko is also another person Akane has met. The Middle Schooler was very nice to her on the camping trip, and Akane has taken a liking to her. She likes thinking of her as a big sister that she never had. She knows that she has something she's hiding from Akane, but she doesn't know what.
